On new years eve I finished on of my books! It’s the first book that I have ever finished, and I have the feeling that I have accomplished something. The book is a children’s story, but I have so much love for it. And today I will hopefully get my little brother’s approval, since he is in the set age group (3-5 year). And if he approves of it, I will probably send it to a publisher tomorrow. I couldn’t be more excited.
In the book I have drawn inspiration from norwegian folklore and tiny bits from norse mythology. I feel like there are too few books with this theme, and I hope that many will find it magical and wonderful, if I get to publish it. If not, then maybe I will try out the new self-publishing service that we have here in Norway, called DinEbok. And then I can add some of my own drawing, but I hope that I can release it trough a publisher.
